Spring Forward

Wednesday, April 22nd, 2015

Here are a couple ideas to brighten your days, improve your employee’s outlook, and attract new customers.

When you think of landscaping, you’re probably thinking of the outdoors and wide open spaces.  However, Innovative Maintenance will also visit your interior and supply appropriate interior plants that we will care for on a scheduled basis.  Plants help hide the hard edges of a building’s interior, making the space more comfortable to be in and a more inviting place for customers to spend time.  And you can breathe freer knowing that living plants’ ability to clean the air of pollutants raises employee productivity a full 12%:

IMS will install, water, maintain and replace indoor planting so that your workplace will be Spring-fresh, year round.

*”It is difficult to design a space that will not attract people; what is remarkable is how often this has been accomplished.”*  — William H. (Holly) Whyte

While plants make an interior space more pleasant to be in, artwork in a space pulls together a room’s design and purpose and gives the result a focus around which activity can occur.  Let IMS work independently or with your designer to place artwork for this purpose to your specifications, budget and taste.  We manage the installation cleaning and removal.  IMS can offer artwork leasing so that we manage the changing-out of artwork regularly, giving your space a fresh look all year long.

Property managers know that nothing keeps tenants happier than a well-functioning lighting and electrical system. If electrical systems go down there will be a lot of unsatisfied customers. Property managers have a lot of important responsibilities to handle, so the last thing they should have to worry about is whether or not they will have lighting in their buildings and properties. A smart decision would be to allow an experienced and licensed company to take over the burden of lighting and electrical mishaps.

Facility managers have many choices for lighting products to illuminate their buildings. How do you know which proper lighting products to choose? There are fluorescent lighting, incandescent, outdoor solar, and light-emitting diode (LED) lighting options. This post is going to focus on LED lighting and the benefits it can have on your facilities.
